Tariff & Pricing, Research Department

The Tariff and Pricing, Research Department of the Water services regulatory commission of Mongolia shall implement the following functions within the scope of Article 10 of Chapter 3 of the Law on Urban Water Supply and Sewerage. These include:

• Revising the tariff system, formulate, implement and monitor tariff policy of Mongolia's water service,
• Review the Required revenue and water tariff of License holders and present to the regulators,
• Monitor financial and economic activities of the license holder, summarize reports, and conduct research;
• Review and conclude financial and economic material of business entity that requested to renew and extend the license and submit it to the Regulatory Commission meeting;
• Create a database on financial and economic indicators of license holders and prepare information to the public and relevant organizations on water service sector indicators if required;
• Receive and resolve information, petitions, and complaints related to tariffs of license holders;
